Established in 2014, Jer’s Tree Care has been a trusted name in professional tree services, boasting over eight years of experience in the field. The foundation of the company’s expertise lies in the qualifications of its founder, Jeremy, who earned his certification in Urban Forestry and Arboriculture from the esteemed Fleming College’s School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences.
Fleming College, situated alongside the picturesque Scugog River in the lush Kawartha Lakes region of south-eastern Ontario, was the perfect backdrop for Jeremy’s studies. The college’s Lindsey Campus is renowned for its focus on environmental and natural sciences, offering a comprehensive and hands-on approach to learning. It was here that Jeremy honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the complex dynamics involved in the maintenance, care, and preservation of trees and shrubs within urban landscapes.

Our Team
Jeremy Payne
Owner and founder Jeremy Payne is a Fleming College graduate who, over the past 10 years in the industry, has been certified with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) as well as with the Ontario College of Trade. Jers Tree Care was created to ensure all clients were properly looked after without feeling rushed or neglected. Satisfaction through proper maintenance and safety is always the number one thought on Jeremy’s mind.
Cody Hutchinson
Cody has been a valuable member of Jer’s Tree Care for six years and counting. Starting as a groundsman and working through the reigns to a JR Arborist / Climber, Cody has been part of many jobs resulting in satisfied clients and completed Projects. We appreciate Cody’s commitment and expertise, which undoubtedly contribute to the success of Jers Tree Care
